Boredom is never a good reason to go on a quest. Eventually you'll just get bored of the quest as well. Making friends is a much better reason to go on quests, but if you're not careful, you'll just end up looking like a low rent Pokemon episode. When doing quests, stick with the reason the dwarves always give... questing for booze!
That is the best response I have yet to receive. I went on the quest for friends, but boredom helped me to stay on track. I would definitely do it for booze, but, unfortunately, my little party has disbanded, and they don't want to come to their GM's house anymore. *tear*
